Good program if you spend a lot of time in Japan or frequently fly in high fare classes. Not so great for leisure travelers because discount economy only earns 75% base mileage. Mileage earning options are limited outside Japan, but there are many ways to earn in Japan (Rakuten, Tokyo Metro card, etc). Online redemption is easy and availability is good, especially for international Star Alliance awards. |
