I love the planes, the service, but I have to say that's about it. Their customer service became the worst, their points system is worthless - unless you are able to take their flight at least once a year, your points expire in 12 months, or you have to have JetBlue AmEx and use it regularly, which will prevent points expiration. Please note that purchasing miles or shopping through JetBlue online shopping mall will not renew your miles (unlike most programs). I just did this mistake and not only lost the points I already had, but lost the money on the points I paid for to prevent old points from expiration... What can I say? I feel cheated...

True Blue points accumulated do not expire as long as you fly JetBlue once a year.

They told us back in Nov 2009 that they were unveiling a new, improved TruBlue Program. They lied. It is much worse than before.
They have now made their mileage redemption rates similar to other airlines. Nothing wrong with that. But here's the scam: you earn miles according to how much you spend. So let's take a coast-coast trip as an example. Let's say you spend $500 for a roundtrip.
You spend $500, but you would have flown 5000 miles.
Other airlines give you 5000 miles, JetBlue now give you 500 (or 1000 if you book online). Plus here's the kicker - points expire after 1 year.

Rules change, have missed my share of flights, and every time I call, or at counter it is something different, and get run around. And when once got cut off on phone call, and called back they saw notes that I was cut off, and still didn't do what that person was going to do, and another time was told could stand by at nearby airport, but had to buy new ticket and was obvious agent told me this, had note from her on flight to call on, and they apologized said she be talked to, but yet was charged a new ticket the day of flight. BUT have wrote to customer service and didn't let up and they corrected it even better then expected, but had to keep following up.

I applied for a JetBlue credit card, since they had pretty decent service to/from my home town of Columbus, Ohio. Suddenly, they dropped service to Columbus and now I've earned 58 points on an airline that I can't use. I hope they improve their city coverage in the U.S. soon.

What a shame their mileage program sucks so badly. Great airplanes and good service!

Jet Blue is a wonderful airline, but their reward program stinks. Expiring points are useless. I have redeemed thousands of frequent flyer miles on other airlines, but nothing on Jet Blue.

Jetblue's a great airline, but their frequent flier program is a bit stingy, since all points expire after one year. Also, no partner benefits to speak of.
