After 30 coffees and achieving Gold status, you get 1 free coffee for every 15 purchases.
If my local coffee shop will give me 1 free coffee for every 10 drinks I get (typically a card with stamps), why would I be compelled to go to Starbucks?
You're paying more for a coffee, and you need to buy more coffee's to get a free one when compared to a local shop.
Starbucks needs to re-evaluate their rewards and redemptions.

Good program, but a bit limited. The rewards for frequent customers should be a bit higher (discounts on drinks?). They would actually more than make up the costs in increased loyalty/business.
