Our Take

These portals can help you earn three or more extra miles per dollar spent, so this is a nice deal if you planned to make online purchases with any of the retailers listed. However, the true points maximizer will want to check a site like CashBackMonitor or Evreward to make sure there isn't a better portal bonus for the same retailer. In situations where the total number of bonus points is comparable, earning Membership Rewards through Rakuten (formerly Ebates) may be the highest value option for holiday purchases

If spending over $1,000 in the next couple of weeks is a bit much, there's a possible loophole. While the portals technically exclude bonuses on gift card purchases, it seems you can purchase the gift cards directly from Giftcards.com within the portals and still get the bonuses. We wouldn't recommend going overboard with this strategy. The terms and conditions seem to conflict with the reports we've seen from folks who have had success with bonuses for gift cards.

Unfortunately, Delta does not offer Giftcards.com within its shopping portal. Alaska Airlines, Southwest and United all offer .5 miles for each dollar spent at Giftcards.com, while American Airlines offers 1 mile per dollar.

Delta's deal ends on November 14th, and the rest end on November 21, so you need to act soon to claim these holiday bonuses.
