Though there are earning caps, this is a great way to quickly rack up bonus points.
Were you targeted for this Chase 5X promotion? If so, which offer did you get?

FYI for others looking for this info, on my Marriott Bonvoy boundless card, even though the transactions are posted on chase app as 5x after signing up for promotion, the total points shown on the Marriott app after paying my April bill are only 2x my bill (the standard redemption rate). It seems like the remaining 3x points will post to Marriott account at the end of the promotion period.
Thanks for sharing how they seem to be applying the promotion. Should help a few folks avoid concern.
I got the 5x offer on my Disney Chase Card for spending up to $1500. Yay for $75 in disney rewards.
This is great to know. I need to look into these co-branded cards more because they are partnered with a lot of places I shop at
Nothing on my British Airways card this time, although I have had offers for the past 6 months or so. Not 5X though, I don’t think.
Good that it is extended through June
As a current Chase cardholder, I appreciate your posts like this one that lets me know how to maximize my spending power with promotions and offers I didnt know I was available for. Thanks !
Wow this is awesome! I love Chase credit cards, so stoked they will be earning 5x the points. Way to go American Airlines!!
Oh, this is interesting. It’s too bad I don’t think my card is included on this.
chase is one of the few card brands that are actually worth having
Fantastic Promotion
Glad to see that is available until June
It is interesting that the Starbucks card has even joined the bonus action.
Wish they would put this on some of their own cards too and add more to the reserve aside from peloton credits!
Again, it is the travel cards trying to stay relevant and rewarding. 🙂
Great opportunity to pick up some extra points courtesy of Chase though the earning caps make this a lot less compelling than it otherwise might have been….good way to top up an account more quickly I guess is the main benefit.
Nice opportunity. I tried all 7 of my Chase cards (even 2 United cards and a Hyatt card) and couldn’t sign up. Oh well, I appreciate the notice.
Many thanks. I actually needed this to top of my Hyatt account for a booking soon.
I was targeted on four of my Chase cards, but unfortunately not my Hyatt card on which I already plan to do some significant spending to reach 60 elite nights. Oh well… ?
Not all 5x offers are the same. 5x on the IHG card? Meh. But 5x on the Hyatt card? Awesome! IHG points are worth only about 0.5 cents each, while Hyatt points are easily worth more than 1.5 cents each. Already signed up for the Hyatt 5x deal, and already maxed it out at $1,500 in spend.
This is a great offer. Both my united explorer credit card and Hyatt credit card are eligible to get 5X on spending up to $1500 through June.
I would certainly max out the 5% cash back categories on the freedom cards. The others I leave to the discretion of others.
I got this offer on my United Explorer card. I much prefer flexible points but it’s worth diverting 1500 worth of spend for 5x points.
I just signed up for the Chase IHG Travel Premier card, got a targeted offer of 160,000 bonus points. And the $89 annual fee will be negated by the free Global Entry/TSA Precheck application credit.
My only choices were Disney and IHG. Neither seems a good choice.
Chase IHG cards; would rather see it on one or more of my Ultimate Rewards cards.
I’m genuinely getting a little pissed off at this point that everybody but me appears to be targeted for these.
