Is it Worth It?

There is some value in this promotion. When you compare the promo with the unofficial Delta SkyMiles award chart, the typical price for a low-level Economy round trip to Europe will set you back 60,000 SkyMiles plus taxes and fees. This flash sale gives you an effective 20% discount on these awards.

Our Take

A Delta award flash sale can be a nice savings if your timing works out. While a 20% discount on the regular low-level prices is not earth-shattering, nevertheless it does represent decent values especially if you are looking for a Delta flight to London during the promotion period. Remember if you are short a few SkyMiles for an award, you can transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Delta SkyMiles. So points earned from The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum® Card from American Express can be transferred over to Delta for that award redemption.
