According to a leaked image, it seems that Chase will be adding a new Business credit card to its lineup of Ink credit cards. Although Chase has yet to confirm the full card details, some information was made available in the image.
- Earn $500 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
- Earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase made for your business
- 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers
- Then a variable rate of 15.24% - 21.24%
The 5/24 rule
We have no doubt that the new card will be subject to Chase’s 5/24 rule. However, remember that most Business cards are not taken into account when Chase uses the 5/24 rule as they don't report to your personal credit report. Adding this card to your credit portfolio won't increase your 5/24 count.
This card seems to be a business version of the Chase Freedom Unlimited®. The card’s features—earning 1.5% cash back on your business purchases, being able to combine your cashback into Chase Ultimate Rewards (we hope this benefit will continue), and charging $0 annual fee–make it an interesting option for those who don’t need the extras provided by the Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card. If you already hold the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or the Chase Sapphire Reserve® this card is a great companion for your business expenses.
