  • This card is the one I like most. It usually has the chance to receive the 10% offer. Just keep your eyes.

  • Booked a stay back in March for a stay in August. Any idea if the 10% discount can retroactively apply to trips planned that far in advance?

  • Linda KT says:

Wonder if I am using my points for someone else (Hyatt Guest of Honor), if I would receive 10 percent back?

  • The points rebate is a very nice touch. I hope I can make good use of it. Thanks for the info.

  • I’m with Josh S. wishing Hyatt had a bigger footprint (meaning more hotels. I like their Park and Grand Hyatts but only have a few worldwide.

    • Yes, I think it’s official. AW members are in agreement… at least five of us! 🙂 Hyatt needs a larger footprint!

  • Nice offer ,the 10% points rebate is much better in my award wallet than Hyatts …

  • Thanks for the tip, always find Hyatt bonuses very useful.

  • Awesome! Glad I held off on booking my next Hyatt stay. 10% back is always a nice bonus.

    Thanks for the heads up!

  • I’ve already reserved rooms using points. Would I need to cancel these reservations and make new reservations after signing up or would I be ok with my current reservations?

  • Hyatt is a good chain quality wise. I think the offer is nice if you had a trip planned anyway but it’s not worth making a booking just for a 10% point rebate.

  • Hopefully this will be extended another month or two.

  • I’ve been mulling over picking up a Hyatt card – but maybe this will finally give me the push to get one!

  • I wish the same as another. I wish Hyatt had a bigger footprint, which I believe they are working on. In the future then it might be more worth it to have their card but not right now. Just got the Marriott. I have a card with Hilton and Marriott, so most places I want to visit are covered.

This does help make Hyatt a contender. I wonder what the future will hold in promos? Maybe they’ll add this as a perk of the card?

    • It’s possible. This is at least the 2nd time they’ve run the 10% rebate promo (possibly the 3rd?). Hopefully, they’re getting nice and comfortable with the idea of a points rebate 🙂

  • This is awesome, i just happened to have a 90k redemption coming up.

  • OMG why do they have to start this on July 2 and not June 2…
I had a lot of Hyatt stays in June where I used points….sigh….

  • I’m staying at a Hyatt right now. I don’t have the credit card yet but it’s definitely on my list for the future.

  • Leonardo Pazin says:

    Great. Hyatt is my favorite!

  • Thank you for this! Hyatt is great; just don’t often see them when I travel.

  • This is a nice little discount. Thanks for the tip.

  • Cecelia Camara says:

    Please delete and ignore my last comment – just saw you have to have the credit card and we recently ditched the one we had.;

  • Was potentially looking at some stays, but after the 9/2 cutoff though!

  • I wish hyatt had a larger footprint!

  • I was able to take advantage of this last year. It was an existing reservation so it worked out

  • Will I get points back when I redeem a Hyatt free night certificate?

  • RoseMarie says:

Hyatt is my favorite hotel chain. If you have the co-branded credit card you can get 10% of your points back for bookings this summer. This is a nice perk for me. More points to book hotels later in the year.
