We recently reported on Marriott’s Cyber Monday deals, with offers of up to 25% discount. Not to be outdone, Starwood has announced its own set of deals beginning on Cyber Monday.  As of November 21st, Starwood is offering 30% off a range of its hotels, and SPG members will get an additional 5% off, if they book through the Cyber Monday sale site.

Some sample rates:

  • London from $223 per night
  • New York from $199 per night
  • Paris from $133 per night
  • Boston, San Diego, and Chicago from $99 per night
  • San Francisco from $169 per night

The promotion will run through December 4th, 2016, and is valid for stays up until Labor Day in September 2017. The sale is valid on properties in the U.S., the Middle East, and Europe. The SPG offer is more advantageous than that from Marriott for stays in the U.S., in that it is far more generous with the time frame to take advantage of the offer; Marriott’s offer being only valid for stays through January 2017. In Europe, the Marriott offer is only valid for stays through to March 2017. For Africa and the Middle East, the offers are nearly the same, with the Marriott’s offer being valid till the end of September 2017.

The offer is only open to SPG members with no restrictions, so new members will become eligible for the offers the moment they enroll in the SPG program. For travelers that already know their plans over the next year, this could be a great option to get a great discount on their stays.
