Using a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marriott.com\/loyalty\/redeem\/transfer-points\/start.mi?\" rel=\"noopener\">new online tool<\/a>, you can transfer points between <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/marriott-bonvoy\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Marriott Bonvoy<\/a><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> accounts. The new functionality makes transferring points a breeze and should save you time!<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Marriott_Bonvoy_Points_Transfers_Overview\">Marriott Bonvoy<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Points Transfers Overview<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>You can transfer a maximum of 100,000 points per year from your account.<\/li>\n<li>The minimum transfer amount is 1,000 points.<\/li>\n<li>You can receive a maximum of 500,000 points per year.<\/li>\n<li>Both accounts involved in the transfer must be in good standing.<\/li>\n<li>You can only freely transfer points between accounts that have been open for at least 90 days.<\/li>\n<li>When you transfer points to an <strong>inactive account<\/strong>, the transaction will go through, but the points will then be canceled!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The only exception to the above concerns accounts open less than 90 days. Accounts less than 30 days aren't eligible to send or receive points.
