The <a data-ccid=\"4048272\" href=\"\/blog\/link\/CR-CapitalOneVentureXRewardsCreditCard\" rel=\"noopener nofollow sponsored\">Capital One Venture X<\/a> comes with a welcome bonus of 75,000 miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. It has an annual fee of $395, which is easily offset by the card's many benefits \u2014 as long as you take advantage of them.<\/p>\n<p>These benefits include well-known things like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/venture-x-travel-credit\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Up to $300 annual travel credit<\/a>.<\/strong> Following <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/venture-x-travel-credit\/\" rel=\"noopener\">the latest update to the Capital One Venture X<\/a>, the travel credit is no longer applied retrospectively as a statement credit. Instead, cardholders must now apply it during checkout in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/capital-one-travel-portal\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Capital One Travel Portal<\/a>. This credit resets every card anniversary (not calendar year).<\/li>\n<li><strong>10,000-mile bonus on each account anniversary.<\/strong>\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/point-mile-values\/capital+one\" rel=\"noopener\">AwardWallet users redeem Capital One miles at 2.04\u00a2 on average<\/a>. At that rate, the bonus miles are worth about $204. At the very least, you can redeem Capital One miles at one cent per mile for travel purchases. You can receive up to $800 per approved claim with a maximum of two claims in a 12-month period. You will just need to pay a $50 deductible. Coverage goes into effect the first day of the month following payment of a cell phone bill with your card, and it applies to all phones listed on the bill.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the cell phone coverage, the Capital One Venture X provides purchase security. It covers up to $10,000 per claim and up to $50,000 per accountholder if items purchased within the past 90 days are stolen or damaged.<\/p>\n<p>Another coverage that can protect items you buy with your card is the extended warranty. This adds an additional year to manufacturers' warranties of three years or less. For this to be in effect, you need to pay for your entire rental with your card and decline the rental company's collision damage waiver (CDW). Your coverage includes physical damage to the vehicle, theft of the vehicle, loss of use charges from the rental company, and towing. It covers up to the actual cash value of the car, with a maximum of $75,000.<\/p>\n<p>With this coverage, you should note three important things:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Only your rental car is covered.
