{"id":10338,"date":"2016-12-23T12:23:57","date_gmt":"2016-12-23T17:23:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/blog\/?p=10338"},"modified":"2024-11-20T17:53:11","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T17:53:11","slug":"awardwallet-plus-price-increase-effective-february-1-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/news\/awardwallet-plus-price-increase-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"AwardWallet Plus Price Increase Effective February 1, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>UPDATE: We've extended the deadline through February 14, 2017.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On February 1, 2017, the price of an AwardWallet Plus membership is increasing from $5 for six months to $30 for one year.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Why_Are_We_Increasing_the_Price_of_AwardWallet_Plus\">Why Are We Increasing the Price of AwardWallet Plus?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For many years we\u2019ve avoided any price increase, but it has become necessary to maintain the high quality of the AwardWallet website and mobile apps for our expanding member base, which as of December 2016 is over 443,000 people globally.<\/p>\n<p>AwardWallet has been around for 12 years and in the past five years alone we\u2019ve:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Added support for 250+ additional loyalty programs (supporting over 680 total today)<\/li>\n<li>Created dedicated teams for our iOS & Android apps<\/li>\n<li>Continued to offer a feature-rich product at no cost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The good news is that we are grandfathering anyone who has ever paid for AwardWallet Plus before February 1, 2017, as long as you maintain an AwardWallet Plus subscription going forward.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"How_To_Keep_AwardWallet_Plus_at_10year\">How To Keep AwardWallet Plus at $10\/year<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To keep AwardWallet Plus for $10\/year, <a href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/user\/pay\">activate a subscription on the payment page within your AwardWallet profile<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If your account is currently at the Plus tier, you still need to activate your subscription; however, you will not be charged until the day your AwardWallet Plus converts to a\u00a0Free account. On that day you'll be charged $10 to extend your AwardWallet Plus membership for another year.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"What_If_I_Already_Have_AwardWallet_Plus\">What If I Already Have AwardWallet Plus?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The account below is an example of an AwardWallet Plus profile at the Plus tier through March 1, 2019.
