Alaska Airlines has teamed up with Qatar Airways to offer double miles. However, it won't last long \u2014 just until June 30, 2023<\/strong>.\u00a0Here are details for this promotion and how many bonus miles you can earn.<\/p>\n

Alaska and Qatar Double Miles Promotion<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Alaska and Qatar partnership predates Alaska joining Oneworld<\/a>. And that partnership is even sweeter right now, thanks to a promotion offering double Mileage Plan miles.<\/p>\n

Since December 1, 2021, Mileage Plan members have earned the following miles when flying with Qatar Airways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t

On flights through June 2023, Alaska members will earn double base miles on Qatar Airlines flights.<\/p>\n

First, register for this promotion<\/a>. After registering, Mileage Plan members will earn double base miles <\/strong>on all flights with Qatar Airways through June 30, 2023.<\/p>\n

How many miles you will earn will depend on which fare you book. The highest fare (First Class) will net you 450% of your miles flown during this promotion. Economy Class (Y) will earn you 200% miles, while the lowest fares \u2014 T, O, and W \u2014 will provide 50% miles on your flight. To figure out how many miles you'll earn, multiply your flight distance by these earning rates.<\/p>\n

Note that double miles apply to base miles only. Elite qualifying miles are not affected, and the bonus miles don't count toward earning elite status with Alaska<\/a>.<\/p>\n
