This applies to rental cars, hotels, flights, and vacation rentals booked through the platform. The credit works as a discount at the time of booking, and you can choose whether to apply it to eligible bookings or save it for later.<\/p>\n<p>Note that while hotels and rental cars don't generally recognize elite status or award elite credit on bookings made through third parties (such as the Capital One Business Travel portal), airlines almost always honor elite benefits on third-party bookings. So, you may want to utilize this credit on flights rather than hotels or car rentals.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"10000-mile_anniversary_bonus\">10,000-mile anniversary bonus<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Every year after your first account anniversary date, you'll receive a 10,000-mile bonus. This perk alone is worth over $200 in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/point-mile-values\/Capital+One\" rel=\"noopener\">recent AwardWallet user redemptions<\/a>. Now, only the primary cardmember has access to lounges. If you want any of your authorized users to gain access to lounges, you'll need to pay a $125 annual lounge access fee. This isn't to be confused with an authorized user fee; adding additional users to your card is still free.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Up_to_120_Global_Entry_or_TSA_PreCheck_credit\">Up to $120 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Every four years, you'll be able to receive up to a $120 credit for either <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/airlines\/expedited-airport-security-programs\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Global Entry or TSA PreCheck<\/a>. This includes complimentary breakfast, a $100 experience credit, and \u201cif available\u201d perks like late checkout and room upgrades at <strong><\/strong>participating properties<strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Only <a data-ccid=\"4048272\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/venture-x\/\">Capital One Venture X<\/a> and <a data-ccid=\"5048345\" href=\"\/blog\/link\/CR-CapitalOneVentureXRewardsBusiness\" rel=\"noopener nofollow sponsored\">Capital One Venture X Business<\/a> cardholders have access to Premier Collection hotel bookings.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Lifestyle_Collection\">Lifestyle Collection<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Capital One also offers the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/lifestyle-collection-hotels\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Lifestyle Collection<\/a>. Cardholders also earn 10X miles on Premier Collection and Lifestyle Collection bookings through Capital One Business Travel.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"No_preset_spending_limit\">No preset spending limit<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This card adapts to you. Rather than a traditional credit card that may come with a predefined spending limit (such as a $10,000 credit limit), the <a data-ccid=\"5048345\" href=\"\/blog\/link\/CR-CapitalOneVentureXRewardsBusiness\" rel=\"noopener nofollow sponsored\">Venture X Business<\/a> adapts to your spending habits. Some of these offer a lot more value than others. You'll get a value of 1 cent per mile when doing so, but this can be helpful if you have fixed travel requirements and can't find other reward redemptions.<\/p>\n<p>It's also possible to redeem miles for cash (not related to recent travel purchases). These redemptions are worth half a cent per mile \u2014 poor value compared to your other options.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Capital_One_Business_Travel_portal\">Capital One Business Travel portal<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Capital One Business Travel portal allows you to redeem your miles at a rate of 1 cent each, which is less than half of the average value users get when transferring miles (which we'll discuss next). Miles can be used for anything you book, including hotels and rental cars, flights, and vacation rentals.<\/p>\n<p>However, we don't recommend doing this. You're much better off paying for your travel bookings, earning 10x or 5x (depending on what you book) and then redeeming miles as a statement credit. You'll come out with more miles through this approach.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Transfer_miles\">Transfer miles<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The last &#8212; and best &#8212; way to redeem your points is by taking advantage of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/capital-one-rewards\/capital-one-transfer-partners\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Capital One's transfer partners<\/a>. To date, Capital One has 22 different travel partners.
