Fiesta Americana Elite Status Levels<\/span><\/h2>\n
The Fiesta Americana program has four levels: Classic, Gold, Platinum, and top-tier Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n
Classic<\/span><\/h3>\n
This is Fiesta Rewards' entry-level status<\/a> and provides the basic level of benefits, including:<\/p>\n

- Earn 10X per dollar (on spending before taxes) at qualifying hotels.<\/li>\n
- Redeem your points for award nights.<\/li>\n
- Earn bonus points on reward nights.<\/li>\n
- Receive special member rates on your bookings.<\/li>\n

Fiesta Americana Gold<\/a> is the first elite level of the program, and you reach it after earning 15,000 Fiesta Rewards points in 12 months. Gold provides all the benefits of Classic, plus the following:<\/p>\n

- Receive 10% off food and beverages at all brands except One Hotels.<\/li>\n
- 25% off spa services at City Hotels except the Curamoria brand.<\/li>\n

Fiesta Americana Rewards Platinum<\/a> is the program's second-highest elite status tier, achieved after accumulating 40,000 Fiesta Rewards points or 25 nights within a 12-month period. The tier provides all the benefits of Gold, plus the following:<\/p>\n

- Earn 30% bonus points earned per stay at all brands.<\/li>\n
- Receive 15% off food and beverages at all brands except One Hotels.<\/li>\n
- Exclusive FR check-in line at all brands except One Hotels.<\/li>\n
- Access and amenities on the Fiesta Rewards floor at Live Aqua, Grand Fiesta Americana \/ Curamoria, and Fiesta Americana \/ The Explorean.<\/li>\n
- Access the Fiesta Rewards Floor at Fiesta Inn, IOH, Gamma, and One Hotels.<\/li>\n

Fiesta Americana Rewards Black<\/a> is the top tier, which is reached after accumulating 125,000 Fiesta Rewards points within 12 months. The tier provides all the benefits of Platinum, plus the following:<\/p>\n

- Earn 50% bonus points per stay at all brands.<\/li>\n
- Restaurant reservations and complimentary robe and slippers are available at Live Aqua, Grand Fiesta Americana \/ Curamoria, and Fiesta Americana \/ The Explorean.<\/li>\n
- Special bathroom amenities at all brands except One Hotels.<\/li>\n
- Check-in and access to Aqua \/ Grand Club at beach resorts, including Live Aqua and Grand Fiesta Americana \/ Curamoria.<\/li>\n
- Complimentary Cabin with 30-minute massage at resorts in the Live Aqua and Grand Fiesta Americana \/ Curamoria brands.<\/li>\n
- Room upgrades, including upgrades to suites, at Live Aqua.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Earning Fiesta Americana Rewards Points<\/span><\/h2>\n
There are several ways to earn, or even purchase, Fiesta Rewards points. The most obvious is staying at affiliated hotels, so let's start there.<\/p>\n
Earning on hotel stays<\/span><\/h3>\n
Earning Fiesta Americana Rewards Points is straightforward, and you earn 10 points per dollar on eligible charges, excluding taxes, for stays at qualifying properties. Qualifying spending includes room rates, food and drinks, spa services, and other items. And those with elite status can earn at a higher rate.<\/p>\n

If you are making a group booking, you can earn points for up to nine rooms per night if all the reservations are in your name. If you want to book ten rooms or more, contact the Fiesta Americana Rewards Call Center.<\/p>\n
Earning on Avis car rentals<\/span><\/h3>\n
If you rent online or by calling 800-288-8888, you can add your Fiesta Rewards number to earn bonus points on each rental day with Avis<\/a>. You'll earn based on the car category:<\/p>\n

- Economy:<\/strong> 500 points per day<\/li>\n
- Compact:<\/strong> 1,000 points per day<\/li>\n
- Intermediate:<\/strong> 1,500 points per day<\/li>\n
- Standard:<\/strong> 2,000 points per day<\/li>\n
- Large:<\/strong> 2,500 points per day<\/li>\n
- Premium:<\/strong> 3,000 points per day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Purchasing Fiesta Americana Rewards points<\/span><\/h3>\n
Members who want to boost their balance can purchase Fiesta Americana points for $13 per 1,000 points. That works out at 1.3\u00a2 per point, which is on the steep side for hotel points when you consider that AwardWallet members have only been able to leverage most hotel points for a value of under 1\u00a2 per point<\/a>. The exception: highly lucrative World of Hyatt<\/a> points, which AwardWallet members have leverage for up 2.19\u00a2 per point.<\/p>\n
Fiesta Americana Co-branded Credit Cards<\/span><\/h2>\n
Fiesta Americana Rewards has three co-brand credit cards, earning you points for everyday spending issued by Santander. Unfortunately, these cards are not open to U.S. residents \u2014 only to residents of Mexico, who can apply for any of the following cards:<\/p>\n
