This new feature is not time-limited and is expected to be a new, permanent benefit for both levels. Crucially, joining is free, so there is no need to worry about status. However, if you regularly book stays for friends and family, you can now do so through an IHG Business Rewards account and then consolidate the points free of charge into another account of your choice. This provides a &#8220;best of both worlds&#8221; scenario.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Our_Take\">Our Take<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Charging $5 per 1,000 points transferred is massively expensive, so it is excellent news that IHG has removed this burden for some members. Even more exciting: If you don't hold elite status but regularly book travel and accommodation for family and friends, you can use an IHG Business Rewards account as an excellent option to accrue points and then move them into a single account for making award bookings \u2014 especially if you're able to leverage the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/ihg-one-rewards\/ihg-4th-night-free\/\" rel=\"noopener\">fourth night free<\/a> for increased value.<\/p>\n<p>Will you be taking advantage of this new function?
