The elite benefits are lucrative, especially if you earn Globalist \u2014 top-tier <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/world-of-hyatt\/elite-status\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Hyatt elite status<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Status in World of Hyatt is earned either through <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/world-of-hyatt\/elite-night-credits\/\" rel=\"noopener\">qualifying nights<\/a> or base points, which are points earned for eligible World of Hyatt spending. For the unfamiliar, this is a type of offer in which you just show proof of your existing elite status with another program and are just given status in the new program.<\/p>\n<p>However, Hyatt occasionally offers <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/world.hyatt.com\/content\/gp\/en\/offers\/2025-elite-tier-offer.html\" rel=\"noopener\">corporate status matches<\/a> for employees of certain large companies, such as IBM, Siemens, and others.<\/p>\n<p>Also, each fall, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/airlines\/american-aadvantage\/elite-status\/\" rel=\"noopener\">American Airlines AAdvantage elites<\/a> can request a status challenge to fast-track their World of Hyatt status. All that's required of you is to complete a &#8216;challenge' in which you show you're willing to move your loyalty to World of Hyatt.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Hyatt_Status_Challenge_for_American_Airlines_Elites\"><span id=\"World_of_Hyatt_Status_Challenge_for_Corporate_Employees\"><b>World of Hyatt Status Challenge for Corporate Employees<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In 2026, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/world-of-hyatt\/elite-status-shortcuts\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Hyatt is offering\u00a0a corporate status match<\/a> with a challenge component (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/world.hyatt.com\/content\/gp\/en\/offers\/2026-elite-tier-offer.html\" rel=\"noopener\">register here<\/a> by <strong>December 31, 2026<\/strong>). With this offer, you'll earn Explorist status for 90 days and can keep it until February 2028 by staying 10 nights during those 90 days.
