Transfer Bilt Points to Alaska Airlines<\/span><\/h2>\n
As of March 15, 2024, Bilt Rewards<\/a> points can be transferred to Alaska Mileage Plan at a 1:1 ratio \u2014 just like with Bilt's other transfer partners. If this new partnership is anything like what we've come to expect, transfers should happen immediately<\/a>.<\/p>\n
Bilt had 16 transfer partners before this announcement. Adding another transfer partner makes for 17, but that's only the case for a short time. The addition of Alaska Mileage Plan<\/a> as a Bilt transfer partner comes on the heels of news that transfers to American Airlines will end in June<\/a> (specific date unknown). Thus, Bilt will have 17 transfer partners for a couple of months, but the total will drop in June 2024.<\/p>\n

Bilt points already transfer to several Oneworld airlines, including British Airways, Cathay Pacific, and Iberia. So, Alaska Airlines may seem like just another option. However, savvy readers will realize a key distinction: Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan lacks transfer partners from other points programs.<\/p>\n
Other than a handful of hotel points programs, Bilt will now be the sole flexible rewards transfer option to Alaska Mileage Plan. You can't transfer points from Amex<\/a> or Chase to Alaska Airlines, for example.<\/p>\n
Although Alaska's award chart changes<\/a> are less than exciting, Mileage Plan has some unique partners that make for great redemptions. There will still be several quality Mileage Plan sweet spots<\/a> available for travelers to book. And the ability to transfer points from Bilt to Alaska Airlines provides another option for earning these valuable miles \u2014 beyond just the Atmos\u2122 Rewards Visa Business Card<\/a> and Atmos\u2122 Rewards Ascent Visa Signature\u00ae<\/sup> card<\/a>.<\/p>\n
