From December 31, 2024, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Points will have a five-year fixed expiration deadline. Your points will expire after five years, regardless of your account's activity level. This is a further negative development since Hertz changed its expiration policy last year<\/a> to points that expire if you have no activity on your account for 12 months.<\/p>\n This allowed regular renters to have their points live indefinitely since their activity always extended their validity.
