However, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/best-credit-card-benefits\/\" rel=\"noopener\">the not-as-flashy benefits are still worth knowing about<\/a>; they could be the key to getting you out of a jam while traveling or cover you in the event an expensive item you purchased doesn't work as intended.<\/p>\n<p>On that note, Chase is making some changes to the travel and purchase protection benefits lineup-wide. The brand-new site will go live on the first of October. If you need to file a claim before then, Chase instructs you to continue to use the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eclaimsline.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Eclaims site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And we'll further preface the changes by noting that while benefits are allegedly coming to (or being upgraded on) several cards, you'll still be wise to check the new <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/guide-to-benefits-list\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Guide to Benefits<\/a> you'll get in the coming months to understand the full scope of how you'll be impacted. Without further ado, let's take a look at what's about to change.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Auto_rental_coverage\">Auto rental coverage<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Your card's auto rental coverage is getting a bump. On products that don't already have a limit of $60,000 or more, coverage will include more vehicles and grant cardholders up to $60,000 in coverage for eligible vehicles with an MSRP of $125,000 or less. The benefit's service provider will now arrange and provide for emergency transportation for qualifying events. In other words, cardholders will no longer need to pay upfront and then file a claim.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Travel_and_emergency_assistance\">Travel and emergency assistance<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Certain cards will soon be introduced to a travel and emergency assistance benefit. If you run into an issue while traveling, this benefit offers legal and medical referrals and access to other emergency services. However, service isn't free; cardholders are responsible for any services rendered.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Travel_accident_insurance\">Travel accident insurance<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Cards with $250,000 worth of travel accident insurance will see an increase in coverage to $500,000.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Lost_luggage_reimbursement\">Lost luggage reimbursement<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Select products will receive a lost luggage reimbursement benefit for the first time.
