Earn 10X AAdvantage Miles on Hurricane Relief Donations to the Red Cross<\/span><\/h2>\n

American Airlines AAdvantage members who donate to the Red Cross will get 10 AAdvantage miles for every dollar they donate<\/a>. To claim the bonus miles, members must donate a minimum of $25. However, there's no upper limit on how much members can donate to receive 10X miles. Donations must be received by October 22, 2026<\/strong> to earn bonus miles.<\/p>\n

Getting 10X miles per $1 donated is\u00a0effectively buying AAdvantage miles for 10 cents each. If you're only interested in generating miles, you might utilize the current buy American Airlines miles<\/a> promotion to buy them for a quarter of the price. However, this offer is about supporting the Red Cross hurricane relief efforts and getting a nice reward for doing so.<\/p>\n

The American National Red Cross is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so contributions are tax-deductible for Americans.<\/p>\n

Note that the smallest donation you can make online is $10. However, to earn 10X AAdvantage miles per dollar donated, you need to donate at least $25. And again, donations are tax-deductible — less the value of the miles you receive.<\/p>\n

Please do keep in mind that the bonus miles you'll earn do not count as Loyalty Points<\/em>. So they don't qualify toward earning elite status.<\/p>\n
