Currently, you can transfer up to 60,000 points per year between the Wyndham and Caesars programs. Sadly, that will not be the case in the future. From January 1, 2025, you can only transfer up to 30,000 points per year between both programs.

This move is strange since the transfer limit was only increased from 30,000 to 60,000 a couple of years ago. So, why both parties would decide to roll this back after such a short period of time can only mean that the deal did not work out as they had intended.

How to Earn Wyndham Status Through Credit Cards

Status matching to Caesars aside, you can still earn Wyndham status through a variety of co-brand credit cards. Wyndham elite status is earned from the following cards.

Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Card scores you Wyndham Diamond status.

Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus Card grants you Wyndham Platinum status.

Wyndham Rewards Earner® Card gets you Wyndham Gold status.

Our Take

There is no way to sugarcoat this lousy news for Wyndham and Caesars members. Losing the ability to leverage your status with one program from status with another is a big blow. Cutting the number of points you can transfer between programs simply hammers home the negative news. The development kills the excellent perk of a yearly comped stay at Atlantis Bahamas, making the Wyndham Rewards® Earner℠ Business Card worth the effort.

Either way, if you are a fan of status with Caesars, you will now have to develop another plan to be eligible for elite status with the program.

Page Contents

Points Transfer Limit Reduction

How to Earn Wyndham Status Through Credit Cards

Our Take

Wyndham announced that status obtained through credit cards can no longer be matched to Caesars Rewards.
