Wyndham announced to its con-brand cardholders that from next year, they would no longer be able to match their status obtained from their card to the Caesars Rewards program.<\/p>\n

Per the updated Wyndham Rewards terms and conditions page<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\u201cBeginning February 1, 2025, Wyndham Rewards Platinum and Diamond members may match to Caesars Rewards only if they earned their Level by staying the necessary number of hotel nights with Wyndham. (Wyndham Rewards Platinum or Diamond members who acquired their Level solely from being a Wyndham Rewards credit cardholder will no longer be eligible to status match.)\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Points Transfer Limit Reduction<\/span><\/h2>\n

That's not the extent of the bad news either. Currently, you can transfer up to 60,000 points per year between the Wyndham and Caesars programs. Sadly, that will not be the case in the future. From January 1, 2025, you can only transfer up to 30,000 points per year between both programs.<\/p>\n

This move is strange since the transfer limit was only increased from 30,000 to 60,000 a couple of years ago<\/a>. So, why both parties would decide to roll this back after such a short period of time can only mean that the deal did not work out as they had intended.<\/p>\n

How to Earn Wyndham Status Through Credit Cards<\/span><\/h2>\n

Status matching to Caesars aside, you can still earn Wyndham status through a variety of co-brand credit cards. Wyndham elite status is earned from the following cards.<\/p>\n
