Delta is changing its rideshare partner. After an eight-year partnership with Lyft, Delta is switching to Uber, which will allow members to earn SkyMiles on select Uber rides. This partnership will go into effect soon, and the Delta and Lyft partnership will end on April 7, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Delta Unveils Brand-New Partnership With Uber<\/span><\/h2>\n

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Delta announced its new partnership with Uber<\/a>. Starting in spring 2025, Delta SkyMiles<\/a> members will earn miles on qualifying Uber rides.<\/p>\n

\u201cDelta is thrilled to come together with Uber to create a connected travel experience from start to finish,\u201d<\/em> said Delta CEO, Ed Bastian. \u201cThis partnership creates more choice for customers to get to their destination in a way that works best for them.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Uber is the largest rideshare platform, offering several billion rides a year, 15% of which begin or end at the airport. Until now, Uber has not partnered with any U.S. airlines. Flying Blue<\/a> members can earn miles on Uber rides — but only in France and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
