However, to compensate for the loss, it has partnered with Wynn Rewards; members are now entitled to Wynn Rewards Platinum status.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s break down this change and explore what\u2019s gained and lost in this recent FoundersCard update.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"A_Big_Loss_FoundersCard_Drops_Caesars_Diamond_Status\">A Big Loss: FoundersCard Drops Caesars Diamond Status<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I held a FoundersCard membership for several years until 2020, and one of its most valuable benefits was Caesars Diamond status. Caesars Diamond members received the following perks, among other benefits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No resort fees at their Las Vegas and other casino properties in the U.S.<\/li>\n<li>Guaranteed 72-hour room availability in Las Vegas<\/li>\n<li>Yearly $100 Celebration Dinner or $50 Uber Eats Credit<\/li>\n<li>Complimentary self and valet parking<\/li>\n<li>Complimentary annual 4-night Atlantis Bahamas stay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For one, Caesars has nine Las Vegas Strip properties, each charging $50+ per night in resort fees after tax. If you frequent Las Vegas, this perk alone translated into major savings. From my personal experience, some of Caesars\u2019 more budget-friendly properties &#8212; like the Linq or Harrah\u2019s &#8212; could cost under $20 per night all-in if you have Caesars Diamond status. For instance, one of the more exciting benefits of standard Wynn Platinum status is completely excluded from the FoundersCard version: A\u00a0free Holland America cruise for two. If you want the cruise, you'll need to earn Wynn Platinum the traditional way.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, some of the headline benefits come with plenty of strings attached. Both the $100 spa\/salon credit and the $150 birthday dinner credit require a minimum two-night stay at Wynn or Encore Las Vegas to redeem. So, as you might gather, this isn't a 1:1 swap in terms of benefits.
