- 2x Rewards Credits per $1 on restaurants, travel, and entertainment<\/li>\n

And when you do, you'll need to pay close attention to what your redemption rate is.<\/p>\nYour Rewards Credits are associated with your Caesars Rewards account, so you'll need to let the venue know you'd like to use Caesars Rewards credits when it's time to settle the bill. It\u2019s also worth noting that Rewards Credits expire after six months<\/strong> if you don\u2019t earn at least one new credit in that timeframe. And, unfortunately, there\u2019s no option to cash out your Reward Credits as a statement credit.<\/p>\nApplication Restrictions<\/span><\/h2>\nSince Caesars Rewards is a gaming loyalty program, you\u2019ll need to be 21 or older to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>‘s benefits \u2014 and apply for the full version of the card.<\/p>\nWhile you can apply for the credit card at 18, if you're under 21, you won\u2019t earn any Reward Credits, Tier Credits, or other benefits from it. There\u2019s an under 21 application, but without the rewards, this card doesn\u2019t offer much value.<\/p>\n
Moreover, this card is issued by Comenity Bank, which doesn't have known application rules or restrictions<\/a>. This status usually requires 5,000 Tier Credits, but you\u2019ll get it for at least one year just by holding the card.<\/p>\nYou\u2019ll also earn 2,500 Tier Credits and 10,000 Rewards Credits after spending $1,000 outside of Caesars properties. To keep Platinum status beyond the first year, you\u2019ll need to spend $5,000 annually on the card.<\/p>\n
One thing that isn\u2019t exactly clear is how long your initial Platinum status lasts. Caesars doesn't spell it out, but based on their program terms, I\u2019d assume it resets at the end of the status year, which happens on December 31.<\/p>\n
What's the difference between Tier and Rewards Credits?<\/span><\/h3>\nBefore we proceed further, it's helpful to explain the difference between Tier Credits and Rewards Credits.<\/p>\n
Tier Credits<\/strong> determine your status in Caesars Rewards. If you earn enough, and you\u2019ll move up the ranks and unlock perks like free parking, waived resort fees, priority service, and more.<\/p>\nRewards Credits<\/strong> are effectively a currency at Caesars properties. If you put $5,000 on the card in a calendar year, you\u2019ll earn 5,000 Tier Credits, which grants you Platinum status.<\/p>\n
Visa Signature Benefits<\/span><\/h3>\nSince the card is a Visa Signature<\/a>, it should come with the standard Visa Signature benefits. But, Caesars isn\u2019t exactly upfront about what\u2019s included. I couldn\u2019t find a benefits list on their official website or even on Visa\u2019s own site. If these benefits are important to you, I\u2019d double-check with Caesars or Visa before applying, because it\u2019s odd that they\u2019re not clearly listed anywhere.<\/p>\n
Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card Earning Rates<\/span><\/h2>\nIf you\u2019re spending a lot at Caesars properties, the earning rates aren\u2019t bad for a no-annual-fee card:<\/p>\n
\n- 5x Rewards Credits per $1 on Caesars Rewards resorts and casinos<\/li>\n
- 2x Rewards Credits per $1 on restaurants, travel, and entertainment<\/li>\n
- 1x Rewards Credit per $1 on everything else<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
That said, unless you\u2019re spending primarily at Caesars properties, there are plenty of no-annual-fee credit cards that offer better earning structures (with more flexible points<\/a>) than the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>.<\/p>\nRedeeming Credits with the <\/strong>Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nRedeeming credits with the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> is a little difficult. For one, unless you're in a state that allows online gaming, you'll need to visit a Caesars destination to redeem your Rewards Credits. And when you do, you'll need to pay close attention to what your redemption rate is.<\/p>\nYour Rewards Credits are associated with your Caesars Rewards account, so you'll need to let the venue know you'd like to use Caesars Rewards credits when it's time to settle the bill. Here are some sample redemption rates:<\/p>\n
\n- Casino Freeplay:<\/strong> 200 Rewards Credits (RCs) = $1<\/li>\n
- Hotel bill:<\/strong> 100 Rewards Credits = $1<\/li>\n
- Dining and retail:<\/strong> Some locations offer 100 RCs per $1, others offer 150-300 RCs per $1<\/li>\n
- Spas and entertainment:<\/strong> 100-200 RCs per $1<\/li>\n

As you can see, the best value would be to charge all of your expenses to your hotel folio if you stay on property and redeem at the front desk. Otherwise, you might have a variable redemption rate worse than 100 Reward Credits per $1.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also worth noting that Rewards Credits expire after six months<\/strong> if you don\u2019t earn at least one new credit in that timeframe. And, unfortunately, there\u2019s no option to cash out your Reward Credits as a statement credit.<\/p>\nApplication Restrictions<\/span><\/h2>\nSince Caesars Rewards is a gaming loyalty program, you\u2019ll need to be 21 or older to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>‘s benefits \u2014 and apply for the full version of the card.<\/p>\nWhile you can apply for the credit card at 18, if you're under 21, you won\u2019t earn any Reward Credits, Tier Credits, or other benefits from it. There\u2019s an under 21 application, but without the rewards, this card doesn\u2019t offer much value.<\/p>\n
Moreover, this card is issued by Comenity Bank, which doesn't have known application rules or restrictions<\/a>. Thus, if you want to apply, your chances of approval will be higher if you have a healthy credit score<\/a> and don't have too many recent inquiries on your credit report.<\/p>\nCards That Compete With the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/span><\/h2>\nIf the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> isn't right for you, other credit cards might better reward you for your time in Vegas (and elsewhere):<\/p>\n\n- If you\u2019re looking for another casino-focused card,<\/strong> the MGM Rewards Mastercard<\/strong> automatically grants Pearl status, which includes free parking \u2014 a perk Caesars doesn\u2019t offer at Platinum. As soon as you make a purchase within 90 days of opening the card \u2014 outside of a Caesars destination \u2014 you\u2019ll get automatic Caesars Rewards Platinum status. This status usually requires 5,000 Tier Credits, but you\u2019ll get it for at least one year just by holding the card.<\/p>\nYou\u2019ll also earn 2,500 Tier Credits and 10,000 Rewards Credits after spending $1,000 outside of Caesars properties. To keep Platinum status beyond the first year, you\u2019ll need to spend $5,000 annually on the card.<\/p>\n
One thing that isn\u2019t exactly clear is how long your initial Platinum status lasts. Caesars doesn't spell it out, but based on their program terms, I\u2019d assume it resets at the end of the status year, which happens on December 31.<\/p>\n
What's the difference between Tier and Rewards Credits?<\/span><\/h3>\nBefore we proceed further, it's helpful to explain the difference between Tier Credits and Rewards Credits.<\/p>\n
Tier Credits<\/strong> determine your status in Caesars Rewards. If you earn enough, and you\u2019ll move up the ranks and unlock perks like free parking, waived resort fees, priority service, and more.<\/p>\nRewards Credits<\/strong> are effectively a currency at Caesars properties. You can use them for hotel stays, dining, and free play, but you can't cash them out for statement credits or actual cash.<\/p>\nCredit: Mark Jackson<\/em><\/enter><\/figure>\nCaesars Rewards Visa Signature Card <\/strong>Benefits<\/span><\/h2>\nWelcome bonus aside; the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> offers a few benefits that would entice frequent Caesars visitors.<\/p>\nTier Credits<\/span><\/h3>\nThe main benefit of this card is that it lets you earn Tier Credits through spending. If you put $5,000 on the card in a calendar year, you\u2019ll earn 5,000 Tier Credits, which grants you Platinum status.<\/p>\n
Visa Signature Benefits<\/span><\/h3>\nSince the card is a Visa Signature<\/a>, it should come with the standard Visa Signature benefits. But, Caesars isn\u2019t exactly upfront about what\u2019s included. I couldn\u2019t find a benefits list on their official website or even on Visa\u2019s own site. That said, Visa Signature cards usually include:<\/p>\n\n- Zero fraud liability<\/li>\n

If these benefits are important to you, I\u2019d double-check with Caesars or Visa before applying, because it\u2019s odd that they\u2019re not clearly listed anywhere.<\/p>\n
Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card Earning Rates<\/span><\/h2>\nIf you\u2019re spending a lot at Caesars properties, the earning rates aren\u2019t bad for a no-annual-fee card:<\/p>\n
\n- 5x Rewards Credits per $1 on Caesars Rewards resorts and casinos<\/li>\n
- 2x Rewards Credits per $1 on restaurants, travel, and entertainment<\/li>\n
- 1x Rewards Credit per $1 on everything else<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
That said, unless you\u2019re spending primarily at Caesars properties, there are plenty of no-annual-fee credit cards that offer better earning structures (with more flexible points<\/a>) than the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>.<\/p>\nRedeeming Credits with the <\/strong>Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nRedeeming credits with the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> is a little difficult. For one, unless you're in a state that allows online gaming, you'll need to visit a Caesars destination to redeem your Rewards Credits. And when you do, you'll need to pay close attention to what your redemption rate is.<\/p>\nYour Rewards Credits are associated with your Caesars Rewards account, so you'll need to let the venue know you'd like to use Caesars Rewards credits when it's time to settle the bill. Here are some sample redemption rates:<\/p>\n
\n- Casino Freeplay:<\/strong> 200 Rewards Credits (RCs) = $1<\/li>\n
- Hotel bill:<\/strong> 100 Rewards Credits = $1<\/li>\n
- Dining and retail:<\/strong> Some locations offer 100 RCs per $1, others offer 150-300 RCs per $1<\/li>\n
- Spas and entertainment:<\/strong> 100-200 RCs per $1<\/li>\n
- World Series of Poker Entries:<\/strong> 200 RCs per $1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
As you can see, the best value would be to charge all of your expenses to your hotel folio if you stay on property and redeem at the front desk. Otherwise, you might have a variable redemption rate worse than 100 Reward Credits per $1.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also worth noting that Rewards Credits expire after six months<\/strong> if you don\u2019t earn at least one new credit in that timeframe. And, unfortunately, there\u2019s no option to cash out your Reward Credits as a statement credit.<\/p>\nApplication Restrictions<\/span><\/h2>\nSince Caesars Rewards is a gaming loyalty program, you\u2019ll need to be 21 or older to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>‘s benefits \u2014 and apply for the full version of the card.<\/p>\nWhile you can apply for the credit card at 18, if you're under 21, you won\u2019t earn any Reward Credits, Tier Credits, or other benefits from it. There\u2019s an under 21 application, but without the rewards, this card doesn\u2019t offer much value.<\/p>\n
Moreover, this card is issued by Comenity Bank, which doesn't have known application rules or restrictions<\/a>. Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card Earning Rates<\/span><\/h2>\nIf you\u2019re spending a lot at Caesars properties, the earning rates aren\u2019t bad for a no-annual-fee card:<\/p>\n
\n- 5x Rewards Credits per $1 on Caesars Rewards resorts and casinos<\/li>\n
- 2x Rewards Credits per $1 on restaurants, travel, and entertainment<\/li>\n
- 1x Rewards Credit per $1 on everything else<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
That said, unless you\u2019re spending primarily at Caesars properties, there are plenty of no-annual-fee credit cards that offer better earning structures (with more flexible points<\/a>) than the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>.<\/p>\nRedeeming Credits with the <\/strong>Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\nRedeeming credits with the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> is a little difficult. For one, unless you're in a state that allows online gaming, you'll need to visit a Caesars destination to redeem your Rewards Credits. And when you do, you'll need to pay close attention to what your redemption rate is.<\/p>\nYour Rewards Credits are associated with your Caesars Rewards account, so you'll need to let the venue know you'd like to use Caesars Rewards credits when it's time to settle the bill. Here are some sample redemption rates:<\/p>\n
\n- Casino Freeplay:<\/strong> 200 Rewards Credits (RCs) = $1<\/li>\n
- Hotel bill:<\/strong> 100 Rewards Credits = $1<\/li>\n

As you can see, the best value would be to charge all of your expenses to your hotel folio if you stay on property and redeem at the front desk. Otherwise, you might have a variable redemption rate worse than 100 Reward Credits per $1.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s also worth noting that Rewards Credits expire after six months<\/strong> if you don\u2019t earn at least one new credit in that timeframe. And, unfortunately, there\u2019s no option to cash out your Reward Credits as a statement credit.<\/p>\nApplication Restrictions<\/span><\/h2>\nSince Caesars Rewards is a gaming loyalty program, you\u2019ll need to be 21 or older to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>‘s benefits \u2014 and apply for the full version of the card.<\/p>\nWhile you can apply for the credit card at 18, if you're under 21, you won\u2019t earn any Reward Credits, Tier Credits, or other benefits from it. There\u2019s an under 21 application, but without the rewards, this card doesn\u2019t offer much value.<\/p>\n
Moreover, this card is issued by Comenity Bank, which doesn't have known application rules or restrictions<\/a>. Thus, if you want to apply, your chances of approval will be higher if you have a healthy credit score<\/a> and don't have too many recent inquiries on your credit report.<\/p>\nCards That Compete With the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/span><\/h2>\nIf the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> isn't right for you, other credit cards might better reward you for your time in Vegas (and elsewhere):<\/p>\n\n- If you\u2019re looking for another casino-focused card,<\/strong> the MGM Rewards Mastercard<\/strong> automatically grants Pearl status, which includes free parking \u2014 a perk Caesars doesn\u2019t offer at Platinum. If you put $5,000 on the card in a calendar year, you\u2019ll earn 5,000 Tier Credits, which grants you Platinum status.<\/p>\n Since the card is a Visa Signature<\/a>, it should come with the standard Visa Signature benefits. But, Caesars isn\u2019t exactly upfront about what\u2019s included. I couldn\u2019t find a benefits list on their official website or even on Visa\u2019s own site. That said, Visa Signature cards usually include:<\/p>\n If these benefits are important to you, I\u2019d double-check with Caesars or Visa before applying, because it\u2019s odd that they\u2019re not clearly listed anywhere.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re spending a lot at Caesars properties, the earning rates aren\u2019t bad for a no-annual-fee card:<\/p>\n That said, unless you\u2019re spending primarily at Caesars properties, there are plenty of no-annual-fee credit cards that offer better earning structures (with more flexible points<\/a>) than the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Redeeming credits with the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> is a little difficult. For one, unless you're in a state that allows online gaming, you'll need to visit a Caesars destination to redeem your Rewards Credits. And when you do, you'll need to pay close attention to what your redemption rate is.<\/p>\n Your Rewards Credits are associated with your Caesars Rewards account, so you'll need to let the venue know you'd like to use Caesars Rewards credits when it's time to settle the bill. Here are some sample redemption rates:<\/p>\n As you can see, the best value would be to charge all of your expenses to your hotel folio if you stay on property and redeem at the front desk. Otherwise, you might have a variable redemption rate worse than 100 Reward Credits per $1.<\/p>\n It\u2019s also worth noting that Rewards Credits expire after six months<\/strong> if you don\u2019t earn at least one new credit in that timeframe. And, unfortunately, there\u2019s no option to cash out your Reward Credits as a statement credit.<\/p>\n Since Caesars Rewards is a gaming loyalty program, you\u2019ll need to be 21 or older to take advantage of the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong>‘s benefits \u2014 and apply for the full version of the card.<\/p>\n While you can apply for the credit card at 18, if you're under 21, you won\u2019t earn any Reward Credits, Tier Credits, or other benefits from it. There\u2019s an under 21 application, but without the rewards, this card doesn\u2019t offer much value.<\/p>\n Moreover, this card is issued by Comenity Bank, which doesn't have known application rules or restrictions<\/a>. Thus, if you want to apply, your chances of approval will be higher if you have a healthy credit score<\/a> and don't have too many recent inquiries on your credit report.<\/p>\n If the Caesars Rewards Visa Signature Card<\/strong> isn't right for you, other credit cards might better reward you for your time in Vegas (and elsewhere):<\/p>\n Related: Best Credit Cards for Everyday Purchases<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n If Caesars is your go-to gambling program, it can make sense to have this card.
