You have to wonder why both airlines even bothered with such a limited partnership. While earning or redeeming miles is good, the lack of any other benefits is a significant letdown, especially for elites. While reciprocal lounge access may have been a step too far for such a limited partnership, maybe expedited check-in or priority boarding would have been nice. Hopefully, this partnership will succeed and be the first step in a deepening relationship with more benefits to come.<\/p>\n
