There are a few ways to ensure you\u2019re using the right Hyatt award, and it generally depends on the award you\u2019re trying to use.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"On_the_Hyatt_mobile_app\">On the Hyatt mobile app<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This is my favorite, and possibly the most millennial way to ensure you\u2019re applying the right award.<\/p>\n<p>You can start by opening your Hyatt app and heading straight for your \u2018Account\u2019, then tapping on the \u2018Awards\u2019 tab. In the &#8216;Book' tab, select the destination and dates, choose your preferred room type and rates.<\/p>\n<p>When you get to the Rooms & Rates screen, if you have any awards that can be applied to this reservation, you\u2019ll see an \u2018Available Awards\u2019 section listing your awards. It might not be as easy as using the app, but it beats using the website. Members can contact the Global Care Center, while Globalists can reach out to their My Hyatt Concierge to have the right award applied to a reservation.<\/p>\n<p>While this is definitely an option, you won\u2019t get real-time visual confirmation that the correct award was used until after it\u2019s been applied. So it's more of a \u201ctrust but verify\u201d situation. But again, <strong>this is not something we recommend<\/strong>. With far better options available, there\u2019s really no reason to go this route.
