For every 1,000 Membership Rewards you transfer, you'll receive 2,000 Hilton Honors points.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Key_Change\">Key Change<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The transfer ratio is now 1:2<\/li>\n<li>Transferring 1,000 Membership Rewards will give you 2,000 Hilton Honors points<\/li>\n<li>The minimum transfer is 1,000 Membership Rewards points (this has not changed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"Our_Take\">Our Take<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We're certainly happy to see a better transfer ratio, but in the end, we still wouldn't recommend such a transfer, as it doesn't provide a good value with your Membership Rewards<\/p>\n<p>When you consider that <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/hilton-honors\/top-luxury-hilton-redemptions\/\" rel=\"noopener\">high-end Hilton properties<\/a> can set you back 95,000 points per night (48,000 MR transferred with the new ratio), you can get far better value out of your Amex points with other transfer partners.<\/p>\n<p>You should always consider <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/how-to-transfer-amex-points\/\" rel=\"noopener\">transferring your Membership Rewards to miles<\/a>. For instance, 50,000 Membership Rewards will give you the same number of Flying Blue miles (or 100,000 Hilton Honors points), which is enough for a one-way trans-Atlantic flight to Europe in Business with a properly timed <a href=\"\/airlines\/flying-blue\/promo-rewards\/\">Flying Blue Promo Award<\/a>. This is much better value than a single night at a high-end Hilton property.<\/p>\n<p>In general, you will get better value by transferring points to one of <a href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/amex-transfer-partners\/\">Membership Rewards\u2019 17 airline partners<\/a>.
