These sorts of companies often shave off cost in exchange for your business \u2014 and you can usually end up stacking the rewards you earn for extra oomph.<\/p>\n<p>Priceline, for example, is currently earning up to 4% back on <a href=\"\/news\/amex-membership-rewards\/rakuten-amex-points\/\">Rakuten<\/a> &#8212; which can mean 4x Amex points per $1 spent. That's a pretty tempting offer, considering that <a href=\"\/point-mile-values\">recent AwardWallet user redemptions<\/a> average <a href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/\">American Express Membership Rewards<\/a> at 1.99\u00a2 each.<\/p>\n<p>The best part about this promotion is that all it takes is a single booking to gain status.
