You\u2019re not allowed to use all the $120 in one sitting, nor can you stack them month over month. Simply put, if you don\u2019t use it each month, you lose it. (<em>Enrollment is required for select Amex benefits.<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>The places that qualify for the dining credit have changed in the past, but the current options are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GrubHub (including Seamless)<\/li>\n<li>The Cheesecake Factory<\/li>\n<li>Five Guys<\/li>\n<li>Buffalo Wild Wings<\/li>\n<li>Wonder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Getting the credit to apply is simple, assuming you\u2019ve enrolled. To enroll, log in to the American Express website and head to the \u201cbenefits\u201d section. You\u2019ll see the $120 dining credit box, click it, and you\u2019re done!<\/p>\n<p>Once enrolled, all you have to do is pay with your <a data-ccid=\"4028085\" href=\"\/blog\/link\/CR-AmericanExpressGoldCard\" rel=\"noopener nofollow sponsored\">Amex Gold<\/a> card for the credit to automatically kick in each month. The easiest for me to use is GrubHub, as I do a restaurant pickup to avoid the high delivery fees here in Seattle. The <a data-ccid=\"4028085\" href=\"\/blog\/link\/CR-AmericanExpressGoldCard\" rel=\"noopener nofollow sponsored\">Amex Gold<\/a> card offers a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/amex-resy-credit\/\" rel=\"noopener\">$100 Resy credit<\/a> &#8212; doled out in two $50 installments.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll get your first $50 to use from January 1 to June 30 each year, and the second $50 from July 1 to December 31. Like the dining credit, the Resy credits don't roll over, so be sure to use them before they expire.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t have to make a reservation via the Resy website. Instead, you only need to use your Amex Gold to pay. In the past, if the gift card was processed via Toast, it showed up as a restaurant order, and the Resy credit was applied automatically. But your mileage may vary.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Amex_Gold_120_Uber_Cash\">Amex Gold $120 Uber Cash<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>While not explicitly a dining credit, you can use your Uber credit on either a ride or an Uber Eats order. Once you link your card to your Uber account, a $10 credit appears in your Uber balance every month. You\u2019ll be able to use it for delivery and pickup orders, but <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/uber-amex-credit\/\" rel=\"noopener\">must use an Amex card to pay for the remainder<\/a>. This is also a use it or lose it benefit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"remark\"><em><strong>Amex Disclosure<\/strong>: To receive $10 monthly credits (up to $120 per year) in Uber Cash, you must add the American Express<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Gold Card to your Uber account and select it as the payment method for your Uber or Uber Eats transaction.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Amex_Gold_84_Dunkin_Credit\">Amex Gold $84 Dunkin Credit<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Perhaps the least exciting of the dining offers on the <a data-ccid=\"4028085\" href=\"\/blog\/link\/CR-AmericanExpressGoldCard\" rel=\"noopener nofollow sponsored\">Amex Gold<\/a> card is the up to $7 per month (up to $84 per year) <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/credit-cards\/amex-membership-rewards\/amex-gold-dunkin-credit\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Dunkin' credit<\/a>. Once you enroll, the credit will apply automatically when you make a Dunkin' purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Since I don\u2019t have any Dunkin' locations near me, I load $7 each month into my Dunkin' app on my phone. This allows me to build up a balance in the app over the months.
