We reached out to Amol for more details. He noted that he hadn\u2019t changed his password in over a year and is now especially mindful of loyalty programs that don\u2019t require multi-factor authentication (MFA) to log in \u2014 like Alaska Airlines<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Multi-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account by requiring confirmation through a secondary method, typically an email or mobile device. And while some programs are implementing it, Alaska Airlines isn\u2019t one of them. At least not yet.<\/p>\n
