These additions bring the total from 19 to 22, leapfrogging programs like Citi ThankYou<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Rewards and Bilt Rewards to take the top spot for the most transfer partners.<\/p>\n<p>Let's introduce you to the newest additions.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Qatar_Airways_Privilege_Club\">Qatar Airways Privilege Club<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Qatar Airways Privilege Club is now the third Avios program to join Capital One\u2019s lineup, alongside British Airways and Finnair. Cardholders can transfer miles 1:1 to Qatar Airways and book directly to access the best Qsuite availability and other <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/airlines\/qatar-avios-award-chart\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Privilege Club partner sweet spots<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also move your Avios from your Privilege Club account to another program like British Airways, Finnair, or Iberia. A unique perk of Avios is that you can <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/airlines\/how-to-transfer-avios-between-accounts\/\" rel=\"noopener\">transfer them freely between participating airlines<\/a>. But this year, JAL has become a transfer partner of a couple of U.S.-based rewards programs &#8212; the newest being Capital One.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a catch, though. Transfers aren\u2019t 1:1. They\u2019re 2:1.5. That means you\u2019ll get 1,500 Mileage Bank miles for every 2,000 Capital One miles you transfer. On top of that, new JAL Mileage Bank accounts come with a seven-day waiting period before you can redeem miles, so it's worth signing up as soon as possible to start the clock.<\/p>\n<p>As for what you can book, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/airlines\/japan-airlines-mileage-bank\/\" rel=\"noopener\">take a look at JAL\u2019s award charts<\/a>. They were adjusted earlier this year (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/news\/airlines\/japan-airlines-award-chart\/\" rel=\"noopener\">mostly to the downside<\/a>), but there\u2019s still solid value in business and first class.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"I_Prefer_Hotel_Rewards\">I Prefer Hotel Rewards<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The third new partner is one you might not be as familiar with: <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/hotels\/i-prefer-hotel-rewards\/\" rel=\"noopener\">I Prefer Hotel Rewards<\/a>. With this addition, I Prefer becomes Capital One\u2019s fourth hotel transfer partner.<\/p>\n<p>I Prefer Hotel Rewards is the loyalty program of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. In short, this is a collection made up mostly of upscale, independent properties. Think of it as similar to Small Luxury Hotels of the World or Mr & Mrs Smith. We\u2019ve highlighted <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"\/news\/citi-thankyou-rewards\/book-preferred-hotels-with-citi-points\/\" rel=\"noopener\">the value of using Citi ThankYou points with I Prefer<\/a>, so it\u2019s exciting to see the program now available through Capital One as well.<\/p>\n<p>Even better, I Prefer is joining as a 1:2 transfer partner.
