JAL applies seasonality to these awards, so the cost depends on when you travel. For flights between the United States and Tokyo, rates start at 110,000 miles plus taxes and fees, which comes out to 112,900 Capital One miles with the 30% transfer bonus.<\/p>\n<p>That said, finding an available seat at the 110,000-mile low-season rate is much harder than at the 125,000-mile regular-season rate. It\u2019s rare to find the 110,000-mile low-season rate for flights to or from the United States, but even 125,000 miles is a fairly good deal for the best in-flight experience JAL has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>However, a few minutes of due diligence could save you a bundle.
