There are four tiers \u2014 Breezy 1, Breezy 2, Breezy 3, and Breezy Club.<\/p>\n<p>Here's how they stack up:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Breezy 1<\/strong> members will enjoy benefits including 25% bonus BreezePoints, complimentary WiFi, priority boarding in Zone 1, and one bundle upgrade.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breezy 2<\/strong> members receive a 50% BreezePoints Boost, two bundle upgrades, priority guest support, and a choice of Breezy Select benefits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breezy 3<\/strong> members receive another 5 bundle upgrades, 75% bonus points, BreezeBy Boarding, and another Breezy Select benefit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breezy Club<\/strong> status gives you a 100% points boost, 10 Bundle Upgrades, and even more rewarding Breezy Select benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Breezy Select benefits can include additional bundle upgrades, bonus BreezePoints, or a multi-use buddy discount that essentially acts like a companion coupon. Breezy 2 members can choose a 25% buddy discount, while Breezy Club members can select a 100% buddy discount. The first &#8212; called &#8220;No Flex Fare&#8221; &#8212; is essentially a basic economy ticket. You won't be able to change your flight, and you can only bring a personal item on board. You also board in Zones 3 to 5.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nice&#8221; bundles allow you to bring a carry-on with you, change your flight, and receive a reusable credit if you cancel. &#8220;Nicer&#8221; bundles offer the option to select an extra legroom seat, board in Zone 1, and enjoy a checked bag, carry-on item, and in-flight WiFi. A one-way flight from Raleigh (RDU) to Punta Cana (PUJ) in May would cost $226 for a Nicer Bundle or $438 for the Nicest Bundle. Here's how many you'll need for each status tier:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Breezy 1<\/strong>: 15,000 BreezePoints<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breezy 2<\/strong>: 30,000 BreezePoints<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breezy 3<\/strong>: 60,000 BreezePoints<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breezy Club:<\/strong> 120,000 BreezePoints<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The number of BreezePoints you'll earn on a flight will depend on your fare class:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No Flex Fares<\/strong>: 1X per $1 spent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nice Bundles<\/strong>: 2X per $1 spent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nicer Bundles<\/strong>: 5X per $1 spent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nicest Bundles<\/strong>: 5X per $1 spent.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extra Add-ons (seat assignments, bags, and priority boarding)<\/strong>: 5X per $1 spent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are a cardholder of the <a data-ccid=\"228\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/news\/airlines\/breeze-airways-program-changes\/\" =_blank>Breeze Easy\u2122 Visa<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Credit Card<\/a>, you'll earn double BreezePoints on flights with Breeze \u2014 up to 10X per $1 spent on Nicer and Nicest Bundles and extra add-ons.<\/p>\n<p>You'll also earn 2X BreezePoints per $1 spent on groceries and restaurants (including Breeze onboard purchases), and 1X BreezePoints on all other purchases.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the launch of the new program, new cardholders can earn Breezy 1 status (including a Bundle Upgrade) after spending $1,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Using_Breeze_Points\">Using Breeze Points<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Before the revamped program launched, 1 BreezePoint was equal to 1 cent. Now, each BreezePoint can be worth more, depending on the date and flight. Make sure to click &#8220;Book with BreezePoints&#8221; when searching for a flight. We're already seeing availability at higher rates.<\/p>\n<p>Using the same example as above, I can book a nonstop flight from Raleigh (RDU) to Punta Cana (PUJ) for 3,600 BreezePoints by booking a No Flex Fare. I'll also pay $55 in taxes and fees. The revenue ticket would cost $438, which gives a lower valuation of 1.3 cents per point. Although it's still better than the previous fixed valuation of 1 cent per BreezePoint, it's less desirable than the No Flex Fare valuation.<\/p>\n<p>We normally don't applaud a move to dynamic pricing, but this is proving to be a positive switch. After performing a few searches, it seems 2.1 cents per point is the best valuation currently available, but that could change over time.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Final_Thoughts\">Final Thoughts<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Breeze Airways has officially launched a lucrative elite status program, offering benefits like upgrades, priority boarding, and bonus points on flights. Arguably, the most exciting benefit is reserved for Breezy Club members, who can choose a multi-use 100% buddy discount as a Breezy Select benefit. If you frequently fly with a friend or family member, you can save a lot of money by booking buy-one-get-one tickets.
