Update: Wyndham has closed the booking window for Vacasa stays.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It\u2019s nearly Halloween, so it\u2019s as good a time as any to pay a quick visit to the graveyard of award travel deals. Soon, you\u2019ll find the Wyndham\u2013Vacasa partnership among the many that have disappeared in recent years. Vacasa will stop participating in the Wyndham Rewards program<\/a> entirely in early 2026.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what to know about the wind-down of this partnership and how it'll affect any Vacasa reservations you currently hold or may need to modify.<\/p>\n

Vacasa Will No Longer Participate in the Wyndham Rewards Program<\/span><\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve long appreciated the value of redeeming Wyndham Rewards points for stays at Vacasa vacation rental properties<\/a>. Despite a major devaluation that Wyndham rolled out<\/a> nearly two years ago, there was still plenty of value to be found. But unfortunately, this partnership will meet its bitter end in 2026, due to Vacasa\u2019s recent acquisition by Casago.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, though, there's a bit of an off-ramp. Members still have time to make new reservations and modify or cancel existing ones before Vacasa leaves Wyndham Rewards<\/a> completely.<\/p>\n
