On January 15, 2026, Hilton announced the newest addition<\/a> to its ever-growing portfolio: the Apartment Collection by Hilton. In partnership with Placemakr, these unique, furnished apartments will provide travelers with a home-away-from-home. These apartments help to fill the growing demand for staycations and amenities not offered by typical hotel brands.<\/p>\n

Here's an overview of the new brand and its upcoming locations.<\/p>\n

What Is the Apartment Collection by Hilton?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Hilton has partnered with Placemakr to provide elevated apartment experiences for travelers with the launch of the Apartment Collection by Hilton — which becomes Hilton's 26th brand. The new collection will add as many as 3,000 units to the Hilton portfolio, ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments, all fully furnished for short- or long-term stays.<\/p>\n

In addition to spacious, furnished apartments, Apartment Collection hotels will also have fitness centers, and some properties will have rooftop pools and terraces, communal gathering and workspaces, and on-site dining and retail.<\/p>\n

As no Apartment Collection hotels are open yet, we don't have full details or reviews on the properties. Hilton is using words like unique, spacious, and furnished to describe the new brand, but it's not clear whether the collection will fit alongside luxury or mid-market brands. However, we do know Hilton plans to target all types of travelers, from families to business travelers.<\/p>\n

According to Hilton, the first apartments will be available to book in the first half of 2026 in New York City, Washington D.C., and Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Apartment Collection by Hilton will be part of Hilton Honors<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Apartment Collection will participate in the Hilton Honors program<\/a>. That means members can earn and spend their points on Apartment Collection stays. Furthermore, members will get elite status benefits throughout the collection, such as free Wi-Fi and exclusive discounts \u2014 though details beyond this are limited.<\/p>\n

It's unlikely that Hilton Gold<\/a> (and higher) elites will receive food & beverage credits\/free breakfast, late checkout, or upgrades. And base earning rates may be lower than what Hilton Honors members would earn at a full-service hotel. We will keep an ear out for details like these and update this post when we learn specifics.<\/p>\n
