Although unpublished, this is a well-known rule stating that you will be denied if you've opened 5 or more credit card accounts within the past 24 months.

Not only does this impact your eligibility for getting approved for the Disney Inspire Visa Card, but it should also influence your decision to apply for the card at all. If you think you might want to apply for the Sapphire Preferred or another Chase card in the next few months, evaluate whether the Disney Inspire Visa Card is worth a 5/24 slot.

Luckily, Chase doesn't have a rule on the number of cards you can hold, but it does limit the total amount of credit it will extend to you across all personal cards. If you already have several Chase cards open with high credit limits, you might need to talk to a Chase representative to reallocate credit from your existing cards to free up space for your new Disney Inspire Visa Card.

Also note that you cannot hold more than one Disney Inspire Visa Card at a time, and you can't earn a welcome bonus if you've earned one in the past 24 months.
