Officially, new accounts can\u2019t redeem miles for 60 days. However, data points across the internet suggest this restriction may disappear or drop to just seven days if you transfer a partner currency into JAL.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, if you don\u2019t already have a JAL account, you should create one immediately.
