In the points and miles space, we're used to seeing many new offers for airlines, hotels and even transferrable currency cards. That being said, one area that we haven't seen a lot of new movement is in the cruise line credit card space.<\/p>\n

But on March 31, 2026, Royal Caribbean and Bank of America announced a new partnership launching two new credit card offerings that can help you unlock a few more rewards on your next cruise sailings and enjoy perks that make your experience truly next level.<\/p>\n

Here's everything you need to know.<\/p>\n

Royal Caribbean Launches Two Credit Cards With Bank of America<\/span><\/h2>\n

These credit cards allow cardholders to earn points faster, with both their everyday spend as well as any purchases with Royal Caribbean brands. That encompasses not just family-oriented Royal Caribbean but also its more upscale Celebrity Cruises and luxury expeditions line Silversea.<\/p>\n

Royal ONE Plus\u2122 Visa Signature\u00ae<\/sup><\/span><\/h3>\n

The entry level version, Royal ONE\u2122 Visa Signature\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>, comes with no annual fee. It lets you earn 3 points per dollar spent on purchases with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, 2 points per dollar spent on grocery, gas and EV charging, and all other purchases will net you 1 point per dollar spent.<\/p>\n

The Royal ONE card comes with the following welcome bonus: Earn 45,000 bonus points, redeemable for $450 in onboard credit or cruise discounts.<\/p>\n

On top of that, the card comes with priority boarding for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, a $100 anniversary reward after qualifying spend of $10,000 on purchases within the prior anniversary year, Visa Signature travel protections, and no foreign transaction fees.<\/p>\n

Royal ONE Plus\u2122 Visa Signature\u00ae<\/sup><\/span><\/h3>\n

The elevated offering, Royal ONE Plus\u2122 Visa Signature\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>, charges a moderate $99 annual fee. Earning becomes 4 points per dollar spent on purchases with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, 2 points per dollar spent on grocery, gas and EV charging, and all other purchases will net you 1 point per dollar spent.<\/p>\n

The Royal ONE Plus card comes with the following welcome bonus: Earn 70,000 bonus points, redeemable for $700 in onboard credit or cruise discounts.<\/p>\n

Additionally, this card comes with priority suite boarding for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea vacations, priority luggage handling with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises. A $200 anniversary reward after qualifying spend, $120 TSA PreCheck\u00ae<\/sup>\/Global Entry credit every four years, Visa Signature travel protections, and no foreign transaction fees are also part of the deal.<\/p>\n

Both cards carry the Visa Signature name and thus come packed with some useful extra perks like travel accident insurance and access to the Visa Signature concierge.<\/p>\n

Royal ONE Program Overview<\/span><\/h2>\n

Separate from Royal Caribbean's loyalty program, the Royal ONE program is a good way for travelers to earn rewards across Royal Caribbean group\u2019s brands. As the brand sees more value from loyalty, they\u2019re seeking to reward its members with additional savings, whether onboard credits for dining, shore excursions, drink packages, Wi-Fi and other experiences.<\/p>\n

As per Jason Liberty, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group in the press release<\/a> announcing the new cards: \u201cRoyal ONE and Royal ONE Plus strengthen how we recognize and reward our loyal guests across our leading vacation brands. These new cards bring together the ways our guests vacation across Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea — making it easier to earn and use rewards, so every trip delivers greater value and more meaningful experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

It's great to see more cruise liners jumping into the loyalty and credit card points programs with new offerings. More is always better, and we love seeing that members have new ways to beef up their balances, unlock a few perks while sailing and even get more general travel benefits just by holding the right credit card.<\/p>\n
