In early 2026, JetBlue launched \u201cFamily Tiles\u201d<\/a> — a way for children\u2019s travel to contribute to their parents\u2019 status tracker and help earn Mosaic status. Sounds pretty cool, right?<\/p>\n

And without getting into too much detail, it makes a lot of sense. If you\u2019re traveling as a family, airline status can be a key part of saving both time and money. As a dad of two, I know how quickly bag fees and snacks can add up. Plus, status can make the airport experience a bit easier to navigate.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s everything you need to know about Family Tiles, plus a bit more clarity on how to earn Tiles in JetBlue\u2019s TrueBlue program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

How JetBlue Family Tiles Work<\/span><\/h2>\n

First, \u201cTiles\u201d are how you earn status in JetBlue\u2019s TrueBlue program. There are four levels of Mosaic status<\/a>: Mosaic 1, 2, 3, and 4.<\/p>\n

Mosaic 1 requires 50 tiles in a calendar year ($5,000 in travel spend or $50,000 in credit card spend), while top-tier Mosaic 4 requires 250 tiles ($25,000 in travel spend or $250,000 in credit card spend). Keep in mind that tiles are separate from TrueBlue points, which you can redeem for JetBlue- and partner-operated flights. Tiles are only used for earning status.<\/p>\n

Family Tiles are available to families with children under age 13, though each child needs their own TrueBlue account. To sign your child up, log into your account, click \u201cEnroll a Child,\u201d and follow the prompts \u2014 or simply click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At the bottom of the enrollment page, select \u201cYes\u201d to add your child to your Family Tiles.<\/p>\n

Once that\u2019s done, you\u2019ll also need to enroll your family in the Family Tiles program. The link provided by JetBlue doesn\u2019t always lead to the correct page, but you can also enroll them by contacting JetBlue directly<\/p>\n

After enrolling (you\u2019ll need to be enrolled before you travel), the parent or guardian\u2019s status tracker will earn 1 tile for every $100 spent on eligible purchases, including:<\/p>\n
