They\u2019re also generally valued starting at 35,000 points, going all the way up to 85,000-point certificates earned with the <a data-ccid=\"4048231\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/credit-cards\/marriott-bonvoy\/amex-bonvoy-brilliant\/\">Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> American Express<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Card<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As a refresher, Marriott Free Night Certificates can now be <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/hotels\/marriott-bonvoy\/top-up-free-night-certificate-with-points\/\" rel=\"noopener\">topped off with up to 25,000 points<\/a> from your Bonvoy account. While Deer Valley, an Ikon Pass mountain, has the St. Regis Deer Valley on its slopes, you'll need an 85,000 point certificate to redeem for a free night there (and a lot of luck in ski season).<\/p>\n<p>But you're not out of luck entirely. Here are some other Marriott options on Ikon Pass slopes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mont-Tremblant, Quebec<\/strong>: Le Westin Tremblant<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mammoth Mountain, California<\/strong>: Westin Monache Resort<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blue Mountain, Ontario<\/strong>: Westin Trillium House<\/li>\n<li><strong>RED Mountain, British Colombia<\/strong>: Josie Hotel, Autograph Collection<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aspen\/Snowmass, Colorado<\/strong>: St. Regis Aspen, W Aspen, and Viewline Resort Snowmass, Autograph Collection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the off season, it might be possible to redeem your 25,000 point certificate for one of these resorts,\u00a0<em>if<\/em> you top it off with additional Marriott points. Otherwise, this new certificate option is best used for that late-night arrival into Denver (DEN) or Salt Lake City (SLC), where there are plenty of Fairfield Inns and Courtyard by Marriotts to redeem for. Then, you can make your way to the slopes the next day, saving you an expensive night on the mountain.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, you can use these certificates anywhere in the world. For instance, $25 in mountain credits each month, up to $300 per season, can be a great savings, if you are visiting a mountain that often.<\/p>\n<p>It seems that hotel loyalty have arrived for some apr\u00e8s-ski, and it's great to have more options as award travelers for our next winter vacation.
