JetBlue Launches BlueFirst: What We Know So Far<\/span><\/h2>\nWe\u2019ve known a few limited details about the BlueFirst product<\/a> since the summer of 2024. JetBlue will use the Collins Aerospace MiQ seat, which is already used in domestic first class cabins on many American Airlines and Delta Air Lines flights.<\/p>\nHowever, we finally have more details on what passengers can expect when booking BlueFirst, and JetBlue TrueBlue<\/a> members will likely be very excited. The seats include some nice features, including:<\/p>\n\n- Seat cushioning provided by Tuft & Needle, which is “designed to offer each customer personalized support and responsive pressure relief throughout the flight” and is only available on JetBlue<\/li>\n
- Five inches of recline and up to seven inches of additional legroom compared to JetBlue's Main seats<\/li>\n
- 13.3-inch seatback screen with Bluetooth connectivity, including the latest Blueprint by JetBlue entertainment platform<\/li>\n
- In-seat USB-A, USB-C and 110VAC power<\/li>\n
- Complimentary\u00a0<\/b>Fly-Fi high-speed internet<\/li>\n
- Blanket and snooze kit on overnight flights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

These seats will be installed on every aircraft in JetBlue\u2019s fleet that doesn\u2019t already feature the airline\u2019s Mint product. To make room for the larger seats, standard economy legroom is expected to shrink to 30 inches \u2014 a major downgrade from its current industry-best economy legroom of 32 inches. Additional perks for BlueFirst customers<\/span><\/h3>\nAs part of the rollout, JetBlue is stepping up its complimentary in-flight dining and beverages. Here's what to expect:<\/p>\n
\n- Seatback ordering, including “mixologist mode” to be able to order custom mixed drinks directly from the seatback<\/li>\n
- FirstFare on flights 899 miles or longer, which is a bento box that comes with an entr\u00e9e, side, and dessert<\/li>\n
- Every flight will include premium snacks from brands like Sockerbit, Tosi, Wholesome Bakery, Pop Daddy Snacks, and Cape Cod Chips<\/li>\n
- Sommelier-selected wines from New York\u2019s Parcelle, specialty coffee from Cometeer and Joe Coffee, and teas from Teamaker<\/li>\n
