Two of the three existing pricing tiers will be kept, with the lowest tier dropping in price and a new fourth tier added at the top of the chart.<\/p>\n
Award nights will be priced at the following four tiers:<\/p>\n
\n- 5,000 points per night <\/strong>[33% drop]<\/li>\n
- 15,000 points per night<\/strong><\/li>\n
- 30,000 points per night<\/strong><\/li>\n
- 45,000 points per night <\/strong>[new]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Note that this does not mean every current 7,500-point property will automatically drop to 5,000 points. Wyndham says it will be “redistributing hotels” across all four tiers. So, some hotels may move down, others may stay effectively flat, and some could move up.<\/p>\n
While we don't know that distribution yet, Wyndham says the highest 45,000-point tier will only be reserved for “a small number of our most elevated hotels,” leaving “the bulk” at the three lowest tiers.<\/p>\n
