The online interface is extremely clunky, which makes it frustrating to search for and book awards.<\/li>\n<li>Capital One miles don't transfer to EVA Air at a 1:1 ratio. Even with this 30% transfer bonus, it's still not 1:1.<\/li>\n<li>You can often book the same EVA Air flights through other Capital One partners, such as Air Canada Aeroplan, for better value, although award availability can sometimes be harder to find.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ultimately, EVA Air probably shouldn't be your go-to Capital One transfer partner. That said, this doesn't mean you should avoid the program altogether.<\/p>\n<p>For example, one of the better sweet spots is booking United Airlines transcontinental business class between Washington, D.C. (IAD) and Los Angeles (LAX) for just 29,000 Infinity MileageLands miles plus modest taxes and fees.
