After that, they expire and cannot be extended or reinstated.<\/p>\n<p>Because of this, you should have a clear plan for how you'll redeem your points before buying them.<\/p>\n<p>It's also worth noting that if you book a flight with BreezePoints and later cancel it, the refunded points will retain their original expiration date. However, you can use points to book travel after their expiration date, as long as you redeem them before they expire.<\/p>\n<p>The primary exception is for cardholders of the Breeze Easy\u2122 Visa<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Credit Card. For example, it doesn't make much sense to spend $500 on points for a flight you could otherwise book for $250 with cash.<\/p>\n<p>At first glance, buying BreezePoints might not seem all that compelling. That's because Breeze says its points are worth at least 1 cent each, while even this promotion only lowers the purchase price to 1.45\u00a2 per point. In its <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flybreeze.com\/support?a=Redeem-Flight-Credits-and-BreezePoints---id--NWmaRhbORvW2GloorJegpg\" rel=\"noopener\">redemption FAQs<\/a>, the airline states:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>&#8220;Each BreezePoint is worth at least one cent ($0.01). They can be worth even more on certain dates and flights\u2014up to two cents per point\u2014so be on the lookout for special deals!&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When we searched the Breeze website, we found that point values really do vary, and there are some remarkable redemption opportunities. For instance, a No Flex fare from Wilmington (ILM) to Orlando (MCO) was available for just 2,600 BreezePoints plus $5.60.<\/p>\n<p>The same flight cost $59 in cash, giving you roughly 2.05\u00a2 per point in value. If you purchased points at the best rate in this promotion, you'd come out well ahead on that redemption.
