Heads up, Citi ThankYou\u00ae<\/sup> Mastercard\u00ae<\/sup> cardholders. In just two months, you'll lose access to one of the top Citi ThankYou transfer partners: JetBlue TrueBlue. Here's what you need to know about this change, including the last date to make a transfer.<\/p>\n

Citi ThankYou\u00ae<\/sup> Mastercard\u00ae<\/sup> Transfers to JetBlue Ending Soon<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you hold a Citi ThankYou\u00ae<\/sup> Mastercard\u00ae<\/sup>, you will have one fewer transfer partner on September 20, 2026<\/strong>. On that date, cardholders will no longer be able to transfer their Citi ThankYou\u00ae<\/sup> Points to JetBlue TrueBlue<\/a> at a 1:0.7 ratio.<\/p>\n

Although nothing yet appears on the Citi transfer partners page, Citi confirmed to AwardWallet that this change is indeed taking place:<\/p>\n

“Effective September 20, 2026, JetBlue will no longer be available as a ThankYou Points transfer redemption option for the Citi ThankYou\u00ae<\/sup> Mastercard\u00ae<\/sup>. However, all other no-annual-fee cards will continue to be able to transfer their ThankYou Points to JetBlue at the current rate.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Honestly, this appears to be somewhat random. The Citi ThankYou\u00ae<\/sup> Mastercard\u00ae<\/sup> has been closed to new applicants for a long time. All other Citi cards will continue to offer JetBlue transfers at their current ratio. There doesn't seem to be strong reasoning for removing a transfer partner from just one card that isn't available anymore, but we don't know what's going on behind the scenes.<\/p>\n

Other Ways to Earn JetBlue TrueBlue Points<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you happen to have a legacy card and you love transferring your points to JetBlue, you aren't entirely out of luck.<\/p>\n

Since this update is only impacting one card, you can transfer your points to JetBlue at a 1:1 ratio if you are a cardholder of the Citi Strata Elite\u2120 Card<\/a> (Rates & Fees<\/a>) or the Citi Strata Premier\u00ae<\/sup> Card<\/a> (Rates & Fees<\/a>), or transfer at a 1:0.7 ratio if you hold no-annual-fee cards like the Citi Strata\u2120 Card<\/a> (Rates & Fees<\/a>) or Citi Double Cash\u00ae<\/sup> Card<\/a> (Rates & Fees<\/a>).<\/p>\n
