What started as an interesting concept \u2014 earn transferable miles on shopping and travel spending \u2014 has turned into one of the most powerful award currencies on the market. And today, Rove has added its 20th transfer partner: Qantas Frequent Flyer. Rove members will now be able to take advantage of 1:1 transfers, opening up fantastic award availability for Oneworld flights.<\/p>\n

According to Qantas' award charts, you can book classic flight rewards for as low as 5,700 points, which means your next shopping trip or hotel stay could easily book a flight. Here's what you need to know.<\/p>\n

Rove Introduces Transfers to Qantas Frequent Flyer<\/span><\/h2>\n

Rove's newest transfer partner is officially live. As of July 15, 2026<\/strong>, you can transfer your Rove Miles to Qantas Frequent Flyer at a 1:1 ratio. Rove also supports live Qantas award availability searches, making it a one-stop shop when you want to book an award ticket.<\/p>\n

Through August 14, 2026<\/strong>, at 11:59 p.m. EST, you can transfer miles to Qantas Frequent Flyer with a 50% bonus. In other words, 1,000 Rove Miles can convert to 1,500 Qantas Points. This is a great way to make your miles go even farther. Make sure to check out\u00a0all current Rove transfer bonuses<\/a> before converting your miles.<\/p>\n

But how many Qantas Points do you need to book a ticket? In August 2025, Qantas unveiled new award charts<\/a>. There are four charts to familiarize yourself with if you haven't already. Qantas also uses a fifth award chart for flights operated by at least two Oneworld airlines other than Qantas, which you can see here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Qantas Classic Flight Rewards<\/span><\/h3>\n

The first award chart is for flights operated by Qantas, Jetstar, Fiji Airways, and American Airlines. Note that if your trip only includes flights with a Jetstar or Jetstar Japan flight number, you'll use the Jetstar classic flight reward chart below.<\/p>\n

As you can see, you can book short-haul American Airlines economy awards for just 9,200 points. This isn't fantastic, but it's not terrible either. You can also get to Europe from the East Coast in Zone 4, so an economy award costs just 23,300 points, or a business class ticket costs 68,400 points. American Airlines often charges far more for these tickets.<\/p>\n

Jetstar Classic Flight Rewards<\/span><\/h3>\n

Jetstar is an Australian low-cost carrier based in Melbourne, while Jetstar Japan is headquartered outside of Tokyo. Short, regional hops start at just 5,700 miles. That means you can take intra-Japan or intra-Australian flights for just a handful of miles. Even if you bump up to Zone 3, you can fly between Sydney (SYD) and Auckland (AKL) or Tokyo (NRT) and Hong Kong (HKG) for just 16,600 Qantas Points.<\/p>\n

Emirates Classic Flight Rewards<\/span><\/h3>\n

Qantas is one of the best ways to book Emirates first class<\/a>, even with new eligibility requirements<\/a> that took effect earlier this year. For instance, the nonstop between Dubai (DXB) and Athens (ATH) is roughly 2,032 miles, putting it firmly in Zone 3. That means you could book Emirates first class on this route for just 78,400 Qantas Points, while Emirates charges 98,000 Skywards miles.<\/p>\n

Partner Classic Flight Rewards<\/span><\/h3>\n

The final award chart is for flights operated by other partner airlines, including Air France, Air New Zealand, Alaska Airlines, Bangkok Airways, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, China Eastern, EL AL, Finnair, Hawaiian Airlines, Iberia, Japan Airlines, KLM, LATAM Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Air, Philippine Airlines, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan Airlines, and WestJet.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of sweet spots to be found in this chart as well. How does Qatar Qsuites on a flight between Doha (DOH) and Budapest (BUD) for just 46,000 points sound?<\/p>\n

The addition of Qantas as a Rove transfer partner puts Rove firmly in competition with other currencies.<\/p>\n

Rove now has double the transfer partners of Wells Fargo and several more than Chase Ultimate Rewards or American Express Membership Rewards. Rove has just one fewer partner than Citi and two fewer than Capital One, but at the rate it's going, it wouldn't be surprising if it eclipses all transferable currencies by the end of the year.<\/p>\n

Bottom Line<\/span><\/h2>\n

Rove continues to find new ways to impress us. Rove now has a whopping 20 transfer partners, and Qantas Frequent Flyer is a fantastic addition to the bunch. This announcement comes just two weeks after Rove announced Frontier as its 19th partner<\/a>. If it continues at this rate, it'll have more transfer partners than all the other transferable currencies combined before long.<\/p>\n
