Tickets will be available to book starting August 15, 2026. The airline opened a brand-new <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.delta.com\/austin-meet-your-new-nonstops-miami-denver-columbus-kansas-city-plus-more\" rel=\"noopener\">flight attendant base<\/a> in early 2026, building its claim on Austin as the last member of the Big 3 carriers without a Texas hub.<\/p>\n<p>Delta and American Airlines closely compete as Austin\u2019s second- and third-largest carriers, while Southwest still holds a substantial lead.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThese focus cities have been quite profitable for us, sometimes exceeding that of the hubs,\u201d Delta president Glen Hauenstein said in the airline\u2019s 2025 third-quarter earnings call. He further stated that Austin is a city \u201cwe've acquired a lot of [credit] cards in, and we\u2019re trying to understand\u2026 how to maximize both of those together.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The new Austin-to-Paris route represents Austin\u2019s first nonstop option to France, and just one of a handful of nonstop international flights from Austin outside of North America. Austin flyers can also reach Europe directly on KLM via Amsterdam (AMS); on Lufthansa via Frankfurt (FRA); and on British Airways via London Heathrow (LHR).<\/p>\n<p>Paris isn\u2019t Delta\u2019s only new Austin route for 2027. A new daily nonstop between Austin and San Diego (SAN) will begin on April 12, 2027, operated with an Airbus A319, following closely on the heels of a new nonstop from Austin to San Jose (SJC) launching on October 6, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Travelers who want to escape the overstuffed Austin airport can <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/awardwallet.com\/airlines\/delta-skymiles\/delta-sky-club-access\/\" rel=\"noopener\">access the Delta Sky Club<\/a>, located above Gate 4 on the east side, toward the left when exiting airport security.
