Promotional offerings between Europe and North America are scarce and will likely disappoint Flying Blue members again this month. Discounts vary by city and class of cabin and include routes between Europe and the following cities:<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Economy\">Economy<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Washington D.C. (25% discount)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span id=\"Premium_Economy\">Premium Economy<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mexico City (25% discount)<\/li>\n<li>Seattle (25% discount)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"Discounts_for_Global_Destinations\">Discounts for Global Destinations<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Once again, the list of long-haul discounts outside North America is notably shorter than we've seen in previous Promo Rewards lineups.<\/p>\n<p>Three South American cities comprise the complete list of additional long-haul discounted cities this month. Flights between Europe and Cayenne, French Guiana; Fortaleza, Brazil; and Quito, Ecuador are eligible for discounts in economy, premium economy, and business class cabins.\u00a0 Enjoy a 50% discount on economy flights between Europe and Cayenne or Fortaleza. Otherwise, all South American flight options are discounted by 25%. For short-haul flights within Europe, be sure to <a href=\"http:\/\/flyingblue.us\/en\/flights\/promo-rewards?caribbean=false&central%20%26%20south%20america=false&europe=true&north%20america=false&unit=miles&order=ascending\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">check the city pairs<\/a> for a 40% discount in both economy and business cabins (prices range from 3,600\u201312,000 miles).<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that Flying Blue does not publish an award chart, but you can check how many miles are required for a given award using their <a href=\"http:\/\/flyingblue.us\/en\/flights\/reward-tickets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">award calculator<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Key_Terms\">Key Terms<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bookings must be made by March 30, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>The travel window is from April 30 through June 29, 2020.<\/li>\n<li>Bookings only valid if made via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klm.com\/home\/us\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KLM.com<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airfrance.us\/?utm_medium=Affiliation_all_Prospecting&utm_source=CJ&utm_campaign=Structural&ESV_market=US&utm_content=8184014_AwardWallet+LLC_12592561_\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AirFrance.com<\/a>; phone bookings are not possible.<\/li>\n<li>Tickets cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"Flying_Blue_Transfer_Partners\">Flying Blue Transfer Partners<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are short on miles, Flying Blue has an extensive network of partners and is one of the few frequent flyer programs that is a transfer partner of <a href=\"\/credit-cards\/flying-blue-transfer-partners\/\">all major transferable points programs<\/a>. Transfer ratios vary from program to program, and transfers typically post instantly, except for Marriott Bonvoy points, which can take up to three days. Several <a href=\"\/airlines\/flying-blue\/best-award-flights\/\">sweet spots<\/a> exist within Flying Blue, including the monthly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyingblue.us\/en\/flights\/promo-rewards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Promo Rewards<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Our_Take\">Our Take<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Flying Blue Promo Awards can be hit-and-miss, and we would class this month is a bit of a miss. Particularly for members in the U.S. wishing to take advantage of Promo Rewards to reach Europe. In prior months there have been discounts of up to 50% available, representing a 2-for-1 deal for traveling couples or the opportunity to take twice as many trips with the same miles for solo travelers. However, with the latest round of Promo Rewards, travelers must look outside of North America to score discounts above 25%.<\/p>\n<p>If you see a route that interests you, it is best to book ASAP since there is limited availability, and the best routes get snapped up quickly.
