This year, Amex cardholders will earn a $5 statement credit when spending $50 or more on a single purchase in the Shop Small portal for Small Business Saturday. As usual, members must register for this offer. Here are the details for this promotion.<\/p>\n

Amex Small Business Saturday<\/span><\/h2>\n

American Express founded Small Business Saturday in 2010, aiming to support small businesses on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. To date, Amex cardholders have spent over $184 billion dollars on small business purchases on Small Business Saturday.<\/p>\n

This year, American Express launched “Door to Shop Small<\/a>,” an augmented reality experience in key U.S. cities to promote small businesses. On November 25, a door display will be erected in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles with a QR code driving cardholders to purchase in the Shop Small portal<\/a>. This is very similar to Delta's Window Seat Shop<\/a>, except that there's currently no permanent physical location for Shop Small.<\/p>\n

Additionally, cardholders can check their accounts for a targeted Amex Offer for cash back when shopping with small businesses.<\/p>\n

After registering for this offer, Amex cardholders who spend at least $50 in the shopping tab of the Shop Small map<\/a> or Shop Small online <\/a>will receive a $5 statement credit. This offer runs November 20\u201325, 2023.<\/p>\n

Although Small Business Saturday exists in the U.K., this promotion is limited to cardholders in the U.S. All U.S.-issued consumer and business Amex cards are eligible, but you must add this offer to your card before using it.<\/p>\n
